How do we feel about CSI? I'm watching my first one tonight, and I feel so so about it. On one hand, I hate the fast talking crime drama thing, but on the other hand, it's like Encyclopedia Brown but for adults. And I loved Encyclopedia Brown.
Also, I'm coming up for B-fest. Allie, get me a ticket--i'll pay you back
"CSI" has always been - and will always be - vastly inferior to "Law & Order" proper (which is the best "Law & Order" because it can hold its own plotwise even without Chris Meloni and the grisly rape crimes of "SVU" like that one where John Ritter aborted his wife's baby in a parking garage and threw it in a trash can because he thought it wasn't really his did you SEE that one??? MAN!!!) Having come into being after "L&O," I consider "CSI" mediocre because it does not bring a whole lot of innovation to the genre apart from stupid camera tricks. For this reason I do not watch it. Tickets go on sale Friday - should I snag one for Marg too?
So I was underwhelmed with CSI. It was pretty predictable and there were no twists. Maybe it was a bad episode. Or maybe CSI: Miami is a lame version. Either way, I think i'll stick with "House" for my weekly allotment of dramatic mystery. And yes, Allie, please geta ticket for Margaret. She should have called you already.
And Lakshmi, heck yes we need another ALM reunion. Let's see if we can't do it downtown near Adele's hood this time. In an unrelated story, I'm totally craving an H&M experience

CSI and Law and Order totally blow compared to THE SHEILD!!!!!
There is no other show in my opinion.
I've watched all of season 3 and 4 in the last week in anticipation of season 5 which starts TONIGHT.
I am a loser.
